Owigs Review

Ello! I've been searching for a new set of Extentions for a while now, but was a little skeptical about ordering them online again. Last year I ordered a set off of Etsy that we're very pricey and absolutely horrible! They also had a company website (Miellée) that looked very legit and they had an Etsy shop where you could order custom colors like ombré etc. Depending on the length/texture and custom color the prices varied from $160-$300. The ones I ordered were about 20 inches, but really looked like they were 16. I ordered custom ombré and wavy texture. The young girl was really nice, she was one of the reps from the Miellée company. We communicated over etsy I sent her a picture so she could match the color and gave her shipping info and everything. She said it would take like 5 days to color and process the hair & everything. After 5 days I received a message that my hair was stuck at the Brazilian Border. Lol ooook? So it was about 3 weeks until I finally received my hair & it was horrible!! It was so thin and the hair was totally fried looking. Coming from the "Brazilian Border" you would think they would look super sexy. Nuh uh. I could of purchased 20 times better hair from the local beauty supply store!! So yeah I would definitley not recommend ordering from there!

Now when I order things I non stop research until I am sure that they've gotten all positive reviews & that is how I came across my new Owig Exstensions! The website was pretty to the point and organized which was super easy to order. They have a million different solid colors along with ombré colors where you can actually proportionalize the percentage of hair & color which is amazing!! I ordered them on a Thursday and received them on Monday. Super fast and it is free shipping for USPS. I received mine through express DHL & the only thing that was annoying is that if you don't answer your door to sign they won't leave it unless you leave a note or signature. Wompp, but other than that it was super fast & easy. I also received $5 off for signing up for emails which was nice. Now on to the hair :)! The hair was tied together by a gold band and in a plastic wrapping. The hair was so silky and soft it felt ahmazing, especially for being 40% blonde at the bottom you couldn't even tell the hair was somewhat processed. The thickness of them was pretty impressive being that they aren't double wefted. If you have thicker hair I definitley recommend ordering a second set or I just saw that you now have an option to get them Double Wefted!! (cheaper than two sets) Anwayzz because I have short layers when I first put them in they really didn't blend with my hair at all. I went to get them trimmed & blended at the hair salon down the street from my house (only $20!). I DEFINITLEY recommend trimming exstensions, they will blend so much better! Not all salons will cut them so I would definitley call to find out first. You wear the exstensions as you would normally to get them trimmed. Just make sure you tell the person trimming that you want the least length taken off as possible!

They should use a small razor to trim & blend! If they don't they probably don't know what they are doing lol. After the trim they looked so pretty and long. The color was amazing and blended so good even though my normal hair isn't ombré at all! I am so excited to have these since I don't really mess with dying/bleaching anymore! I curled these the next day and they held the curls so nicely. I wore them all day and the hair hardly tangled. So far these exstensions are by far my favorite..they were only $155 after the coupon which is super cheap. These should last me about a good 6-8 months if taken care of properly..even after da club when you literally tear them out & throw them on the floor lmao. THEY STILL GOOD GIRL. If you guys would like a updated review after two months of these exstensions please let me know! So far I am very pleased & loving my fresh new look :P
